Beatrice Seabolt Freeman
Mrs. Beatrice Seabolt Freeman of Hampton, Georgia, passed away April 19, 2017. She was 87.
Mrs. Freeman was born in Cleveland, the daughter of the late Fannie Dockery Seabolt and Coleman Seabolt.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Garnett Floyd Freeman; great-grandson, Austin Freeman; siblings, Gladys Biggs, Carey Rogers, Janie Gooch, Lillian Norris, Arnold and N. R. Seabolt.
Mrs. Freeman was a member of Liberty Hill Baptist Church, where she was active in her Sunday school class and many other areas of the church. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, attending her grandchildren's activities, doing crafts and crocheting, gardening and was known for being a good cook.
Survivors are her son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Cindy Freeman of Macon; grandchildren, Chris and Julie Freeman of Hampton, Cody and Cassie Freeman of Charleston, South Carolina, and Dana Freeman of Baltimore; great-grandchildren, Brianna Freeman, Nolan Hagemeyer and Chace Cockrum; brother and sister-in-law, J. L. and Maxine Seabolt of Cleveland; sister-in-law, Loudean Seabolt of Cleveland; brother-in-law, Robert Rogers of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. Freeman will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 22, 2017, at Liberty Hill Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service, from 1 to 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Park in McDonough.
