Darwin 'Woody' Lemuel Wood, 70, of Cleveland, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 3, 2022. Mr. Wood was born on Jan. 22, 1952, in Pueblo, Colorado, to the late Otis Rowe and Leona Dennis Rowe Wood. He loved cooking, Nascar, and cutting grass. Woody had a gift for making people laugh and he will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Catherine Wood; sons, Aaron Wood (Tracy), Cleveland, Daniel Wood (Yuliana), Lula, and Matthew Wood (Teresa), Cleveland; grandchildren, Asia Passmore, Stoney Edmondson, Eli Wood, Ciana Wood, Aaliyah Wood, and Ian Wood; sisters, Sharon Winkler (Clenn), Gainesville, and Anna Brown (Dwain), Cleveland; brothers-in-law, Sonny Warwick (Diane), Wyman Warwick, and Rondal Warwick (Sandra); sisters-in-law, Carolyn Lanier (Joey) and Deborah Carder (David). Memorial services were held Sunday, Nov. 6, 2022, at the chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Allen Webb officiated.
