The White County News welcomes your views and opinions. Deadline for Letters to the Editor is 5 p.m. on Monday. Letters submitted for publication must be exclusive to the White County News. The letter writer’s name and city of residence will be published.
Letters will be edited as needed and should be limited to 350 words. The newspaper will publish at most two letters per 30-day period from the same writer. We will not accept letters from political candidates during a campaign. In addition, we do not run letters either endorsing or disparaging candidates running for office.
Publication of any letter is subject to the discretion of the editor. All views expressed in any letter are that of the writer. The White County News reserves the right to edit any letter or not publish at all.
