Pets of the Week: Nov. 25

Pets of the week for the week of Nov. 25 from White County Animal Control and Charles Smithgall Humane Society.

At White County Animal Control, Diana is a 4-year-old female Jack Russell mix. She came into the shelter super underweight, and terrified of everyone. Diana has now gained some weight (and personality) and wants nothing but attention. Diana would be a wonderful companion for someone who has plenty of time to spend with her, and show her that people aren't as bad as she thinks! Luna is a 1 ½-year-old female who is already spayed! Luna was an owner surrender, and is super sweet, but still shy of people. Her previous owner did not have the time to spend with her, but it's believed she will blossom in an environment where she is the center of attention.

At Charles Smithgall Humane Society, Henry is a gorgeous Catahoula Leopard dog mix. He’s 2-years-old and weighs 61 lbs. He has a calm demeanor, but is athletic and would do best in an active family. He’d make for a fantastic hiking/running buddy. He loves people and gets along with other dogs. He walks well on a leash. He has a sweet disposition and aims to please. Skye is a gorgeous 1 ½ -year-old torti girl with emerald green eyes and the softest purr. She loves being with people and does well with other cats, but is afraid of dogs. If you have a home without dogs, come meet Skye. She’ll make for a terrific companion.
