City of Cleveland delivers gift bags to seniors

Members of the Cleveland Police Department took 78 bags of groceries to local seniors in Cleveland on Friday, Dec. 21. In the bags were ham, potatoes, yams, green beans, corn, stuffing, gravy, cranberry sauce, cake mix and icing.  Also included by a generous donor was shampoo, deodorant, and soap.  Another donor gave stocking caps for each citizen. Cleveland city hall personnel and police department personnel bagged the items, loaded them into the vehicles and carried them to citizens. “We had a lot of fun and loved all of the hugs that we received from our Senior Citizens,” said CPD Lt. Donna Sims. Pictured in the back row: Capt.
