Charles Stanton "Bud" Nix
Mr. Charles Stanton "Bud" Nix of Cleveland passed away Sunday, Sept. 10, 2017. He was 74.
Mr. Nix was born to the late Charlie and Ruby Etris Nix. Mr. Nix graduated from White County High School in 1961, and was retired from White County as the building maintenance director. He was a member of Town Creek Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Janice Seabolt Nix.
Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Deana and David Jones of Dahlonega, Maury and Jack Hester of Cleveland, and Diedre and Jimmie Taggart of Cleveland; son and daughter-in-law, William Nix and Phoeny Li of Buford; grandchildren, Jesi and Heath Webb, Jed Jones, Jo Jones, Brook and Ryan Bray, Heath Hester and Lacey Shore, and Ashley Taggart; great-grandchildren, Josie Webb, Abbie Webb, Thomas Webb and Lane Bray; sisters and brother-in-laws, Fanchion and James Turner, Janet and Clifford Cox, and Brinda and Walter Reid; and sisters, Mary Shoffeitt and Evelyn Cantrell.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017, at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Phillip Robinson will officiate. Interment will follow in the Town Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 15, 2017, at the funeral home.
