Clara Jean Lunsford

Mrs. Lunsford was a native and lifelong resident of Lumpkin County. She was born Dec. 24, 1930, to the late Judge and Annie Smith Stringer. She was the last survivor of her six siblings.
Of the many ways we tell family and friends we love them, feeding them is at the top of the list. You could not stop and see Mrs. Lunsford without her making sure you got something to eat.
She was called “Granny” by her grandchildren, whom she loved very much. Mrs. Lunsford was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church Number 2.
