Dustin Mark Dyer
Dustin Mark Dyer of Cleveland passed away Monday, Oct. 29, 2018. He was 29.
Mr. Dyer was born Jan. 2, 1989, in Gainesville, to Bobby Ray Dyer Jr. and Leah Vandiver Barrett. Dustin worked in maintenance at Mountain Lakes, and was a member of Old Nacoochee Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Ralph Dyer; grandfathers, Jerry Vandiver and Bobby Dyer Sr.; and great-grandmother, Lela Hopper.
Survivors include his fiancé, Branka Metz of Cleveland; daughter, Evelyn Lela Dyer of Cleveland; mother, Leah Vandiver Barrett of Cleveland; father, Bobby Ray Dyer Jr.; grandmothers, Wanda Vandiver of Cleveland, and Paulette Dyer of Carnesville; sisters, Kaley Barrett and Ashley Dyer, both of Cleveland; brother, Matthew Dyer of Cleveland; nephew, Aidyn Barrett of Cleveland; aunt, Shalisha Dyer of Carnesville; other aunts and uncles also survive.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, 2018, at Old Nacoochee Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Doug Merck and the Rev. Joel Shadburn will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Barrett Funeral Home.
