White County plans to keep its millage rate steady at 10.75 in conjunction with its Fiscal Year 2020-2021 budget, though it will still have to advertise a tax increase under state law.
Despite facing cuts in state funding, a proposed budget for the White County School System does not include a tax increase or employee furlough days.
The City of Helen was the only entity to approve rolling back their millage rate for fiscal year 2019-2020 on Thursday, July 18.
