The unofficial Aug. 11 primary runoff election results are in.

Don Ferguson emerged victorious in the race for White County probate judge after a runoff with Carol Jackson. The majority of voters here backed White County's own Robert Crumley in the State House District 10 Republican runoff, though Victor Anderson appeared to win the race according to district-wide results listed on the Georgia Secretary of State's website.

In a pair of runoffs for the U.S. House 9th Congressional District, White County voters chose Andrew Clyde in the Republican runoff over Matt Gurtler and Devin Pandy in the Democratic runoff over Brooke Siskin. Clyde and Pandy were also ahead district-wide as of 9:30 p.m., though about a third of counties had yet to report full results according to the Georgia Secretary of State's website.

About 26.4% of White County's 20,305 registered voters cast a ballot in the Aug. 11 general primary runoff election.

Don Ferguson – 54.94% – 2,701 votes

Carol Jackson – 45.06% – 2,215 votes

Victor Anderson – 45.06% – 1,493 votes

Robert Crumley – 54.94% – 1,820 votes

**Notes: The winner of this Republican primary will head to the November general election to meet Nick Mitchell, chair of the White County Democratic Committee.


U.S. House – 9th Congressional District – Republican

Andrew Clyde – 50.46% – 2,446 votes

Matt Gurtler – 49.54% – 2,401 votes
