By Megan Horn/CNI News Service Seeking to deannex its property from the City of Clayton, Moonrise Distillery, Inc. gained the approval of Rabun County Commissioners, but ultimately the business still requires the Clayton city council’s OK to have its 31 Webb Rd. location released to the county.

By Matt Aiken, The Dahlonega Nugget A local Flock camera has been chopped, and Lumpkin County Sheriff Stacy Jarrard is offering a $1,000 reward for anyone who can provide information that leads to the person responsible.

Wellstar Health System and Mountain Lakes Medical Center announced on Monday, Aug. 10, Wellstar has completed its acquisition of the hospital.
