Bid/Plan packages with complete specifications may be picked up at the White Co. Road Dept., 675 Truelove Rd., Cleveland, GA 30528 on or after June 4, 2020, or may be obtained on line at the www.whitecounty.net website.
Bids MUST be submitted in sealed envelopes. Proposal Guaranty - 5% of bid price, Proof of Liability and Workers' Compensation Insurance, Contractor and Sub-Contractor Affidavits and Agreements in accordance with O.C.G.A. 13-10-91 regarding Federal Work Program EEV, Drug-Free Work Place Affidavit, W9 and Bidder's Certification MUST all be completed and returned as part of the Bid Contract documentation for Bid Opening. Failure to comply will be grounds for dismissal of bid.
The Vendor Name and complete Project Name MUST appear legibly on the outside of the envelope. Bids will be accepted until date of opening. Bids will be opened promptly at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, June 19, 2020 at the White County Road Dept., 675 Truelove Rd., Cleveland, GA 30528. AWARD OF CONTRACT: THE COUNTY RESERVES THE RIGHT TO ACCEPT OR REJECT ANY AND ALL BIDS, DELETE INDIVIDUAL ITEMS, RE-ADVERTISE AND TO WAIVE MINOR INFORMALITIES.
NOTE: Proposal guaranty (5% of bid), performance (100% of bid) and payment (100% of bid) bonds will be required for this project.
