The Grand Jury above-named, chosen for the April 2024 term of the White County Superior Court, respectfully submits the following:

INDICTMENTS
The Grand Jury addressed 42 bills of indictment resulting in 42 True Bills, 0 No Bills and 0 tabled.

COMMENDATIONS
This Grand Jury extends its appreciation to the Honorable Raymond E. George, Judge, for his assistance to this body.
The Grand Jury would like to commend Jeff Langley, the District Attorney, and his Investigators, Jillian Pierce and Steve Blackwell, and his staff for their guidance and assistance during our session. Additionally, we commend our Bailiff, Jerry Foster, for his commitment to this Grand Jury.
The Grand Jury would like to commend all the law enforcement officers who appeared before this body. We appreciate their professionalism and the care given to the preparation of their cases.
We appreciate the dedication, professionalism, and Loyalty of personnel serving our County. We especially thank the following individuals who provided information to this Grand Jury: Clerk of Court Dena Adams, Sheriff Rick Kelley, and Tax Commissioner Cindy Cannon.

RETURNS TO THE GRAND JURY
Sheriff Rick Kelley appeared before the Grand Jury and submitted an oral and written report on the budget for the White County Sheriff's Office. The reort presented by Sheriff Kelley meets the requirements of O.C.G.A. 36-1-7(a) and was found to be correct. We wish to thank Sheriff Kelley for his presentment.
Cindy Cannon, White County Tax Commissioner, appeared before the Grand Jury and in accordance to O.C.G.A. 48-5-161, presented the Tax Execution Docket and Cash Book as required, and they were found to be in order.
Ms. Dena Adams, Clerk of the Superior Court, submitted her report to the Grand Jury. The report submitted by Ms. Adams meets the requirement of O.C.G.A. 36-1-7(a) and was found to be in order. The report shall be made an attachment to this presentment.

RECOMMENDATIONS
This Grand Jury recommends that more comfortable seating be provided for Grand Jurors.
