Child Safety Seat checks scheduled

The Cleveland Police Department has scheduled a series of child safety seat check events for June and July.

The public is invited to visit the CPD to have personnel inspect and advise about correct safety seat sizes for children and ensure that units are properly secured. The CPD also has some safety seats available to give away.

The events are planned for 2-4 p.m. on Wednesdays, June 9, June 23, July 7 and July 21, and will be held at the CPD at 342 Campbell St.
