Truett McConnell University invites all to attend the first President’s Chapel of the semester on Tuesday, Aug. 17, beginning at 9:30 a.m. in the George Blaurock Student Wellness Center.

During this special time, TMU will be celebrating its 75th anniversary by recognizing Truett McConnell alumni from the past 75 years who attended Truett McConnell Junior College, Truett McConnell College and now Truett McConnell University.

Not only will TMU celebrate 75 years, its first chapel service will also include new faculty signing publicly the Baptist Faith and Message, thus demonstrating their individual and corporate commitment to, and belief in the confession as adopted in 2000 by the Southern Baptist Convention.

TMU invites the community, family, and friends to help celebrate 75 years as an institution that stands on – Loving the Lord, Loving His Word, Loving His Church and Loving the Lost.

Live streaming of the event will be shown on the Truett McConnell University Facebook page.
