Exceptional Children’s Week had a grand finale Friday night as family, friends and other supporters packed White County High School’s auditorium for a talent show.
“All special people share incredible skills,” organizer and host for the evening Davida Shepherd said before “Firework” by Katy Perry played and built up the excitement for the evening. “I want you to let your light shine.”
The show had 21 acts, including two group performances, one from Avita Community Partners and the other from Wayne’s World. Acts included signing, dancing, trumpet playing, reciting the alphabet backwards, displaying of art and showing a video production.
