Authorities say they are looking for Christopher Fraizer, 31, of Cleveland, who is alleged to have led authorities in a multi-county car chase on Monday, Sept. 30.

White County Sheriff’s Office deputies attempted to stop a white Buick Sedan at approximately 9:30 p.m. on Duncan Bridge Road near Panorama Drive for driving erratically and failing to maintain lane, said WCSO Capt. Rick Kelley. When the deputy attempted to stop the driver, he fled from them down Duncan Bridge Road.

A vehicle pursuit carried into Habersham County, where deputies there attempted a PIT maneuver, but were unsuccessful, Kelley said. The pursuit continued into Hall and Lumpkin counties. The Georgia State Patrol became involved and was able to complete a successful PIT maneuver.

The Buick crashed into a ditch in Lumpkin County, and Fraizer fled on foot, Kelley said. According to Georgia State Patrol, the Habersham County Sheriff’s Office K-9, along with the Georgia Department of Corrections bloodhound, attempted to track the suspect. GSP Aviation also provided assistance. The Lumpkin County Sheriff’s Office also assisted in the manhunt, but authorities were unable to locate Fraizer.

Kelley said that deputies were able identify the driver as Fraizer, and have taken out charges for fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, driving while license suspended, reckless driving and numerous other traffic violations.

Anyone who knows Fraizer’s location is asked to contact the White County Sheriff’s Office at 706-865-5177.
