White County has three youth teams headed to Super Bowl

White County will be in search of three youth football titles during the final week of play in the Mountain Athletic Conference.

The Warriors' second grade, fourth grade, and fifth grade teams all head to Dawsonville for the MAC Super Bowl V games.

The Warrior squads earned their spots in the championship games last weekend with wins the semifinal round.

Second Grade

The Warriors rolled to a 22-0 win over Pickens County in the second grade semifinals, improving their perfect record to 8-0 on the year. The Warriors have been dominant all season, outscoring their opponents 197-14 in eight games.

The Warriors will take on Lumpkin County in the Super Bowl matchup Saturday at 11 a.m., at Dawson County High School. The Warriors knocked off Lumpkin County 6-0 during the regular season.

Members of the second grade team are Wyatt Barrs, Pystol Bishop, Noah Cheatum, Zane Garrett, Matthew Garrett, Ryker Gilpin, Jaxon Grizzle, Logan Haynes, Wyatt Hunter, Kaden Jackson, Dillon Johnson, Jayce Kennedy, Landon McCallister, Brayden McCoy, Kyrie Moss, Kaeson Moss, Brayden Nichelson, Carson Parris, Ace Powell, Jaydon Purcell, Powell Schmidt, Brayden Sosebee, Bentlee Thiel, Weston Turner, Liam Ward, and Adam Wilford. The team's head coach is Victor Moss, with Dustin Johnson, Joseph Thiel, Wade Powell, Ryan Kennedy, Marty Garrett, and John Britton serving as assistant coaches.

Fourth Grade

In the fourth grade semifinals, the Warriors posted a 41-0 win over Dawson County to improve to 7-1 on the year.

The Warriors have scored 202 points this season, while allowing only 34 points.

The Warriors' lone loss came to Chestatee (20-0) in the second week of the regular season, and enters the Super Bowl with a six game winning streak.

The Warriors take on Pickens County Saturday at 3 p.m., at DCHS. The Warriors beat Pickens 12-6 in the season opener.

Members of the fourth grade team are Camden Warnock, Cooper Gilreath, Eston Cantrell, Cash Lowery, Carter Moss, Jaden Stump, Preston Dove, Austin Wilford, Carson McDonald, Peyton Trigg, Ashton Elrod, Landon Brock, Brantley Reed, Bentley Hansen, Landon McDaniel, Rylan Hunter, Remi Randolph, Ryder Rewis, James Hobson, Kiyan Dorsey, Gianni Easton, Isaiah Deck, and John Taylor.

The team's head coach is Carlos Lowery, with Cleve McDonald, Desmond Lowery, Victor Moss, Ryan Elrod, and Thomas Deck serving as assistant coaches.

Fifth Grade

The Warriors' fifth grade team is the second White County team to head to Super Bowl with an unbeaten record.

The Warriors are 9-0 after posting a 36-12 win over Copper Basin int the semifinals.

The Warriors play Gilmer County in the championship game at 5 p.m., and own a 28-0 win over the Bobcats during the regular season.The fifth grade team has scored 236 points this season, while allowing only 59 points.

Members of the fifth grade team are Connor Henson-Ellington, William McSpadden, Kadence Robinson, Lane Bray, Jack Clark, Jaxin Hoosline, Caleb Hyde, Zachary Daniels, Rylan Guarino, John Jarrard, Jordan Spain, Preston Fawcett, Connor Talley, Christopher Friel Jr., John Nash, Coleman Dockery, Isaac Abernathy, William Johnson, Tucker Bentley, Braden Phillips, Thatcher Grier, Riley Hester, Bentley Justus, Mason Ferguson, Devin McDougald, Jacob Forrester, and Aleric Smith.

The team's head coach is Ryan Bray, with Avery Clark, Brandon McDougald, Grady Robinson, Gary Hoosline, Brandon Talley, and Ryan Grier serving as assistant coaches.

Warrior teams fall in semifinals

All six of the county's team advanced to the playoffs, but three of the teams saw its season come to an end in the semifinal round.

The Warriors first grade team finished the season with a 5-3 record after falling to Dawson County, 44-13, in the semifinal matchup.

Members of the first grade team are Jacquavius Franks, Camden Wallace, Andrew Meaders, Cannon Turner, Hudson Dyer, Silas Foster, Tripp Griffin, Jeremiah Kastner, Maddox Hamil, Aubrey McClure, Hunter Anderson, Carter Reed, Hoyt Alexander, Trapper Moyers, Jack Anderson, Skip Freeman, Easton Kastner, Drayton Brooks, Ben McDougald, and Carson Campbell. The team's head coach is Jeremy Kastner, with Walker Kastner, Timothy Griffin, Billy Moyers, Tyler Turner, Greg Brooks, and Scott Wallace serving as assistant coaches.

The Warrior third grade team saw its season end with a 19-0 loss to Chestatee. The Warriors finished the season with a 6-3 record.

Members of the third grade team are Andrew Ellington, Draelyn Few, Cass Thomas, Jaxson Pruitt, Bentley Bearden, Riley Cole Robbins, Jasper Montgomery, Zachary Richey, Jayden Davis, Jackson Sutton, Jeffrey Britton, Joshua Kastner, Beau Tanner, Karter Black, Charlie Davidson, Delijah King, and Aidyn Barrett.

The team's head coach is Brandon Black, with Chris Mewborn, Adam Tanner, Bradley Davidson, Justin Ellington, and Jonathan Sutton serving as assistant coaches.

In the oldest age group in the league, the 6th grade Warriors were handed a 30-12 loss to Fannin County. The Warriors finished the year with a 3-4 record.

Members of the sixth grade team are Zayvion Cheeks, Maxx Medley, Dallas Fain, Cooper Gailey, Harley Davis, Oliver Bennett, Jonathan Shipp, Jax Adams, Ajay Garrett, Brinn Robinson, Branson Loden, Peyton Killian, Jaxon Tuck, Asher Lee, Evan Davis, Lucian London, Hunter Moyers, Kaleb Blalock, Nolan Abernathy, Hayden Williams, Brantley Asherbranner, Max Pulliam, Jackson Forrester, Avery Allison, Charles Brayden Shubert, and Gage Schuch.

The team's head coach is Galen Robinson, with Adrian Medley, Darron Spates, Dustin Fain, and Jason Williams serving as assistant coaches.
