County approves $15 million in bonds for Woodlands Camp

White County commissioners voted Monday to approve a resolution authorizing Woodlands Camp and Conference Center to issue up to $15 million revenue bonds through the White County Development Authority for expansion and renovation of the facility.

Woodlands expansion expected to allow 3,000 additional campers

Woodlands Camp in Cleveland marked its latest plan for expansion March 1 by breaking ground on a site that will host new cabins for youth. Camp staff and members of the community gathered to celebrate the addition to the camp that will allow it to host more kids.
