WC hits final stretch

by Mark Turner White County News   The White County Warriors begin the final stretch of the 2024 season this afternoon, taking on Gilmer in the second game of the Region 7-AAA series. The Warriors and Bobcats opened the series Monday in Ellijay, with the Bobcats grabbing a 13-6 win.

Soccer teams celebrate seniors

by Mark Turner White County News   The White County High School soccer teams wrap up the 2024 regular season tonight with a 7-AAA doubleheader against Wesleyan. The WCHS squads were scheduled to play Wesleyan earlier in the season, but weather issues postponed the game until this week.

Lady Warriors win 2-1, clinch state bid

by Mark Turner White County News   It was a great day of golf last weekend at Apple Mountain Golf Course in Clarkesville as White County High School hosted the 18th annual Lady Warrior Spring Swing tournament. The event included 21 teams, including several state champion caliber teams.
