Lady Warriors prep for fall

by Mark Turner White County News   Last fall, the White County High School volleyball team made a historic run to the Class AAA semifinals. This week, the team began their summer program with an eye on making another deep playoff run this fall.

Calhoun earns spot in NHSRA finals

Staff report   Nathan Calhoun is headed to the biggest stage on the high school rodeo tour. Calhoun, a rising senior at White County High School, recently qualified for the National High School Finals Rodeo, which will take place July 16-22 at the Camplex Event Center in Gillette, WY.

Warriors start summer prep

by Mark Turner White County News   The countdown to the 2023 high school football season started this week as the White County Warriors  opened summer workouts Monday morning at Warrior Stadium. The workout was the first of 12 set for for the next three weeks, along with three 7-on-7 events.

New Digs: WCHS opens softball complex

Weiland wins USA wrestling regional title

Staff Report   White County High School wrestler Ollie Weiland, who won the Georgia High School Association's Girls All-Classification state title last February, has gotten the summer off to a good start by winning a pair of USA Wrestling titles.
