Five people were arrested following citizen tips and complaints.

According to a press release from White County Sheriff Rick Kelley, following these complaints, on Thursday, Sept. 30, officers with the WCSO, Department of Community Supervision, and agents with the Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office (ARDEO) went to multiple White County residential addresses, including several locations in the Kellum Valley community. Following the investigation, five people were arrested and $15,000 worth of stolen property was recovered.

Those arrested include: Nicholas Chaney Toler, 30, Gainesville, possession of meth and possession of heroin; John David Howard, 42, Cleveland, warrant out of Hall County-misdemeanor; Michael Kelly Small, 55, Cleveland, possession of meth and possession of controlled substance schedule II (Adderall); Stephanie Dawn Watson, 40, Cleveland, possession of methamphetamine; and Desiray Lane Rider, 33, Cleveland, possession of methamphetamine
