Friday, Feb. 5, was the 100th day of school for White County Schools’ students. Teachers and students focused on the number 100 and all of the exciting things that can be done with this magical number! Mrs. Allyson Clark and Mrs. Lois Gregg’s kindergarten class made a 100th day snack with 100 things and sang many fun songs about the number 100. Mrs. Jessica Sisco’s Kindergarten students made a book titled “100 ____ would be terrible but 100 ____ would be awesome.” Mrs. Tina Campbell and Mrs. Debbie Spillers’ 1st grade class did a Tootsie Roll Pop experiment to see if it took more than 100 or less than 100 licks to get to the center of a Tootsie Roll pop! Mrs. Amy Swing’s and Haleigh Martin’s (Student teacher) 4th grade class did a “When I am 100 years old” writing. They used an aging app to take their pictures to go with the writing which made them look 100!
