Agri-Fest set for Sept. 26 throughout Freedom Park

The White County Chamber of Commerce’s annual Agri-Fest Country Market is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, in Cleveland’s Freedom Park.

Guests will have a chance to shop locally grown produce and a variety of vendors offering baked goods, crafts and more.

Entertainment scheduled for the day includes Elliot Sperin from 10-11 a.m., Concord Baptist Church at Mountain Yonah (Casey Ryals) from 1-2 p.m. and  SunnySide Baptist Church from 2-2:30 p.m.

A tractor drive-in is also planned for around 11 a.m. Those wishing to participate in the drive-in should meet at 8:15 a.m in the parking lot of Shoal Creek Baptist Church (6 miles west of Cleveland on Ga. 115 and Ga. 284). The roughly 11-mile ride will go up Westmoreland Road, over to the old Gainesville Highway (Old Ga. 75) and on into Cleveland.

The group will go to Freedom Park for the tractors to be displayed while tractor drivers and riders browse AgriFest exhibits.
