Authorities searching for missing White County woman

UPDATE: The search for a missing White County woman came to a sad end on Tuesday, Feb. 4. For more information, view the updated story

TUESDAY UPDATE: WCSO Chief Deputy Bob Ingram confirmed that Vandiver's vehicle was found in Andrews, North Carolina and authorities are continuing the search for her.

MONDAY UPDATE: As of the afternoon on Monday, Feb. 3, there was no new update, according to Hammond.

The White County Sheriff's Office is searching for Brenda Vandiver, 63, of White County, who has been missing since approximately 9 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 1, 2020.

According to an e-mail from WCSO Captain Clay Hammond, Vandiver was last seen on Feb. 1 in Sautee Nacoochee and may be in her vehicle, a 2009 White Lexus RX350 SUV, with a Georgia Tag RLC1473. She is 5'04" and weighs approximately 125 pounds, has brown hair and brown eyes. She might be wearing a dark long sleeve shirt and dark athletic pants. The missing persons flyer lists her as missing endangered.
