Pets of the week for the week of Aug. 31 from Charles Smithgall Humane Society.
Rex is an amazingly sweet dog looking for a soft place to land. He’s a six-year-old retriever/American bulldog mix of medium size. He loves going for walks and has an easy-going calm energy. He loves being with his person and welcomes a good ear scratch. We think he’d do fine with other dogs, but will need to be in a home without kitties. He’ll be a loving companion. Cupcake is a gorgeous petite tuxedo girl. She's nine months old. She's sweet and affectionate. She loves attention and purrs her appreciation for a kind hand. Cupcake will thrive in a quiet home where she feels safe and loved.
