Pets of the Week: Feb. 3

Pets of the week for the week of Feb. 3 from Charles Smithgall Humane Society and White County Animal Control.

At White County Animal Control, Phoenix is an 8-month-old male pit mix looking for a family to love! Phoenix loves everyone and hates when he’s not getting love. Phoenix hates the shelter and whines while in his kennel, waiting for his new home. Come meet this adorable, sweet, and super playful boy who has done well with the other dogs. Mona is a female Grey Tabby. She is about a 1 ½ and loves head bops and scratches. Mona takes a little time to come out of her shell, but when she does she will be your best friend. Mona is a super well behaved girl who loves to relax.

At Charles Smithgall Humane Society, Benson is a gorgeous purebred Treeing Walker Coonhound. When Benson arrived, he had been abused and nearly starved to death. Today, he’s joy and love rolled into one. He’s sweet, smart and energetic. He’d do best with an active family. Benson will be your most loyal companion. Dori is a 10-month-old kitten. She’s a tiny grey and white love bug. She loves being around people and other kittens. She’s often seen in the mix of the fun and games or curled up with her besties for a kitten nap. Dori has spent her life at our shelter and would love to have a family of her own.
