Pets of the week for the week of May 11 from Charles Smithgall Humane Society.
At Charles Smithgall Humane Society, Pete is a six-year-old plott hound/boxer mix. He weighs 50 pounds. Pete is a love. He walks well on a leash and enjoys being out and about. He’s a quiet and calm dog. He loves people and welcomes attention. He’s a playful boy and loves the water. He’s not had an easy life and could use a loving home. Pepper is a 1 ½-year-old tan and black Tabby. She’s friendly towards people and kitties. She’s a bit of a social butterfly and the first to greet visitors to the cat room. She loves a good ear scratch and quietly purrs to show you how much.
