Pets of the Week: Sept. 7

Pets of the week for the week of Sept. 7 from Charles Smithgall Humane Society.

Rufus is a beautiful one-year-old redbone Coonhound mix. He’s easy-going and calm and doesn’t tend to bark a lot. Rufus seems unbothered by other dogs. He has good energy and will make for a wonderful hiking or maybe a running companion. He loves to run in the yard. He’ll thrive with a gentle and active family/person. Evelyn is a gorgeous one-year-old tuxedo kitty. She has a quiet and shy demeanor, but welcomes gentle attention. Evelyn is blind in one eye, but she gets around fine. She will thrive in a quiet home where she is made to feel safe. She will make for a wonderful kitty companion.
