Franks shares Historical Society updates with retired educators

School bus accident injures four, investigation underway

By Carly Henderson White County 911 received reports of a motor vehicle accident involving a school bus in the area of Highway 115 West and Highway 284 around 6:26 a.m. Tuesday, April 28. Heavy thunderstorms had rolled through the area that morning, bringing heavy rain.

White County to celebrate new fire station's grand opening in June

The White County Board of Commissioners and the White County Office of Public Safety will host a grand opening ceremony for the new White County Fire Station 9 at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 11.The new station is located on Sonnys Circle off Duncan Bridge Road in the Mount Yonah community.
