by Samantha Sinclair White County News   Volunteer firefighters will be getting double the money to respond to calls.  The White County Board of Commissioners approved a change in its code at their meeting Monday to give volunteer firefighters $30 per call. They were getting $15 per call.

Sharp enough for STAR status

by Samantha Sinclair White County News   Aiden Sharp was really hoping to get at least a score of 1400 on the SATs. In one try, he got 1460. It was the highest score in White County High School’s graduating class, and he was announced as the STAR Student last week.
