A local black bear went in search of food, possibly orange marmalade, and found bird seed to snack on. Local author and White County News columnist Emory Jones snapped this photo when he saw the bear climb up onto his second floor back deck this past September. Slice of Life photos run in black and white on page 4A of the print White County News, and in color on the newspaper’s website.
