Advance in-person voting opened on Tuesday, Oct. 13, and saw tremendous response in White County, with 658 casting their ballots on the first day alone.
“The day was smooth and steady with a lot of excitement from the poll workers and voters,” said Elections Supervisor Amie Veater.” As always, we have a strong team that provides excellent service to our community.”
Early voting will continue through Friday, Oct. 30. Voting hours are from 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Saturday at the White County Elections & Registration office, 1241 Helen Highway in Cleveland.
Absentee ballot applications may be submitted through Friday, Oct. 23. Voters planning to vote by mail are encouraged to request their ballot promptly.
On Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 3, voters must cast their ballot at their assigned polling place between the hours of 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The Elections Office is not an Election Day polling place.
Voters can check their registration status, locate their assigned polling place and view their personal sample ballot through Georgia’s My Voter Page at mvp.sos.ga.gov.
