Cleveland man dies in motorcycle wreck

A Cleveland man died over the weekend in a motorcycle wreck in Hall County. The accident is under investigation by the Hall County Sheriff’s Office Accident Investigation Unit.

A motorcycle driven by Bobby Jonathon Terry, 51, was spotted by HCSO deputies on its side off Southers Road near Ledan Road at about 6:30 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 31. Deputies found Terry’s body near the motorcycle, according to a news release from the department.

“According to
preliminary details, Terry was negotiating a curve on Southers Road when he lost control of this 2005 Harley-Davidson Heritage Softail Classic,” the release reads.”Terry laid the motorcycle down and it slid through grass and hit a tree.”

The HCSO stated that the exact time of the crash is currently not known.
