- The White County High School track team wrapped up the 2025 season in May with a handful of athletes competing in the Class AAA state meet in Albany, including pole vaulter Tallulah Shack (pictured). The Lady Warriors came home with a Top 10 finish in the team standings, finishing eighth with 34 points and the WCHS boy's squad was 29th with five points. - For the second year in a row, the White County Lady Warriors tennis team made some noise at the Class AAA tournament. After a Final Four run in 2024, they advanced to the Sweet 16 this spring. WCHS finished third during the 6-AAA Region tournament to earn a spot in the state playoffs for only the second time in school history, posting an 11-4 record and a final ranking of No. 12 in GHSA.
- Golf champs! The White County Middle School girl's golf team captured the Mountain League championship in March at Whitepath Golf Club in Ellijay. The team title was the second straight league championship for the Lady Warriors, who are coached by Courtney Attaway. Annabelle Head, Lily Ellis, McKinley Holland and Grace Hollis competed in the tournament for the WCMS team. - White County Middle School dominated during the North Georgia Mountain League boy's basketball season, winning both division titles last winter. The WCMS eighth grade team (pictured) captured the league title with a 51-40 win over Union County and finished the season with a 15-2 record. - The White County High School cross country teams closed out the 2024 season last fall at the Class AAA state meet in Carrollton. The Lady Warriors picked up another podium finishing fourth, while the Warriors broke into the Top 10 with a ninth place finish. The boys team was led by Alex Brannon (pictured), who placed 22nd overall.
- For the past several years, the White County High School volleyball program has risen to the top in Georgia, annually competing for area and state honors. Last fall, the Lady Warriors made another deep run in the Class AAA tournament, earning a spot in the Final Four for the second time in three years. The postseason run was highlighted by a win over LaFayette in a titanic battle in an Elite Eight matchup. - The White County girls basketball team had another stellar season, finishing as the runner-up in Region 6-AAA and advancing to the Sweet 16 round of the Class AAA state tournament. After blasting Bainbridge in the first round of the state tournament, the Lady Warriors fell to Baldwin 62-47 in the matchup between a pair of Top 10 teams.
