Lady Warriors clinch regular season area title

For the first time in program history, the White County Lady Warriors have claimed a regular season volleyball area title.

Boys of Fall are back

The wait was worth it for the White County Warriors. The start of the high school football was delayed for two weeks, but the Warriors made the most of their opportunity when they finally got a chance to step on the field for the first time in 2020.

Moore tabbed to lead defense

For the second time in two months, the White County High School football program has a new defensive coordinator. Greg Moore, who has a coached at several area schools during his long coaching career, joined the program last week as the team kicked off the summer conditioning program.

Basketball teams back in the gym

For high school basketball players and coaches, the month of June has traditionally been a big part of the offseason program. Between team camps, individual workouts, and summer league games, the work done in the month of June is pivotal to a team's success in the winter.

WC softball sets June 15 date to start conditioning

While some White County High School athletes will be returning to campus next week to begin summer conditioning, the Lady Warriors' softball team will begins its summer program on June 15.

WC volleyball squad easing back into summer program

If all things go well, the start of the high school volleyball season is about two months away, and the White County Lady Warriors are making plans to start their preparation for the upcoming season as soon as possible.
White County High School senior Bentley Cronic will continue her academic and athletic career at Piedmont College in the fall. Cronic signed a letter of intent this week to become part of the Lady Lions' basketball program. Piedmont College is a NCAA D-III college in Demorest. The Lady Lions finished 19-9 this past season, and have won three of the last four USA South tournament titles.
