Cannon wins Class AAA discus crown

White County High School made some noise last week at the Class AAA state track meet in Albany. The Lady Warriors, behind a state championship performance from Dasha Cannon, captured fifth place in the girl's team standings, while the Warriors finished 14th in the boy's competition.

WC golfers win first spring team title

For the first time in school history, White County is at the top of the mountain in high school golf. The Lady Warriors pulled off the historic achievement earlier this week, winning the Class AAA team title at the state tournament at Apple Mountain Golf Club in Clarkesville.
Last week in Macon, Devin Sullens and Sidney Sullens climbed to the highest level in high school wrestling by winning a state championship. Devin Sullens, a senior, capped off his prep career by winning the 220-pound title in the Class AAA tournament, while his younger sister, Sidney, a junior, captured the 142-pound title in the Girl's All-Classification tournament. Sullens caps off stellar prep career with Class AAA title   Devin Sullens finished off his high school wrestling career in the best way possible last week in Macon, winning the Class AAA 220-pound state championship.
