The upcoming school year is bringing some new, and returning, faces to White County campuses as school resource officers (SRO). This year, all SROs are White County Sheriff’s Office deputies and will be covering all six of the system’s schools.

The White County School System is considering a contract with the White County Sheriff’s Office for school resource officers (SRO).

The White County School System is considering a contract with the White County Sheriff’s Office for school resource officers (SRO). School Superintendent Dr. Laurie Burkett presented a draft contract to the White County Board of Education during a May 25 work session.
