North Georgia Technical College Board of Directors recently inducted Gilbert Barrett of Demorest, as chairman of the board for the college.
Barrett has served on the NGTC Board of Directors for two terms since 2018 and will serve as chairman for two years.

Cleveland man charged with 15 felonies

An alleged local drug dealer is in jail after a months-long investigation.
On Friday, Dec. 22, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation announced they arrested Michael Thompson, 56, of Cleveland on drug and gun charges.
