Cherokee Bluff sweeps region battle

With the high school soccer season rolling toward the finish line, every game matters in the hunt for a state playoff spot. Such was the case for the White County Lady Warriors Tuesday night when they took on Cherokee Bluff in their final region matchup of the season.

Lady Warriors clinch state berth; face No. 5 Lumpkin in key matchup

The high school soccer season is heading into the final two weeks of the regular season, and the White County Lady Warriors are in the hunt for a region championship.

Lady Warriors' season ends

When you are playing on the road in the first round of the state tournament against a Top 10 opponent, the last thing you want to do is get off to a slow start. That's what happened to the White County Lady Warriors Tuesday night in Norcross in the opening round of the Class AAA playoffs.

Warriors basketball wins 7-AAA opener

The White County High School basketball teams opened the 7-AAA schedule Tuesday night in Cleveland, getting a split with Dawson County. The Warriors used a big second half effort to get past the Tigers, 71-52, while the Lady Warriors dropped a 62-47 decision.
