Lady Warriors reload for state run

For high school coaches, change is always part of the the job. Every year comes with a new set of players and new challenges. Such is the case for the White County High School volleyball team.

Lady Warriors start season with four wins

The first week of the 2021 high school softball season couldn't have worked out much better for the White County Lady Warriors. WCHS opened the season with four straight wins, including a 5-1 win over Habersham Central Monday afternoon in Cleveland.

Warriors set for scrimmage

After two months of summer workouts, passing league games, practice sessions, acclimation practices, and a week of padded work, the White County Warriors get a chance Friday night to play against some guys in different color uniforms.

Lady Warriors reload for another playoff run

The White County Lady Warriors did some big things on the volleyball court during the 2020 season. Starting this week, we'll find out if they can do it again this fall. The Lady Warriors tipped off the new season Tuesday by splitting a pair of games in Gainesville.

TMU adds to atheltic department staff

The Truett McConnell University athletic department recently announced a change in the women's lacrosse program and a new marketing and communications director. Sheena Johnson is  the school's new women's lacrosse coach, joining current assistant Dani Westmoreland on the staff.

Warriors put on the pads; prep for scrimmage

In nine days, the White County Warriors' football team will step on the field for the first time, taking on East Forsyth in a preseason scrimmage. The matchup with Forsyth County's newest high school program will give the Warriors a chance to see where they are at heading into the 2021 season.

For the past two months, the White County High School softball team has put in a lot of time on the field and the weight room getting ready for the 2021 season. Now it's time to reap the rewards of all the summer work.

Herrera joins TMU men's soccer staff

Truett McConnell University is bring back one of it's former players to be part of the men's soccer coaching staff. Jose Herrera was named an assistant coach earlier this month to work along side head coach Scott Borchers.

Warriors finish up acclimation phase; set for fall practice

The White County Warriors are working their way through a series of five acclimation practice sessions this week, another step toward kicking the 2021 season off next month.
