Regional Publisher Keith Barlow announced late Thursday that Patrick Fargason will be the next editor and publisher of the White County News. He will join the News at the start of the new year.
Fargason is the editor and publisher of The Hartwell Sun newspaper in Hart County, and has worked as a journalist for more than 25 years.
