Former White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders will be the keynote speaker at the next Todd Starnes Faith & Freedom Celebration at Truett McConnell University, set for April 18, 2020.

Sanders served in the administration of President Donald Trump from 2017 until this year, later joining Fox News as a political contributor. She is the daughter of former Arkansas governor and Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee, who headlined the 2019 Faith & Freedom Celebration.

Author and radio show host Todd Starnes will once again serves as master of ceremonies.

The event is part of the university’s Empower the Call campaign, which raises funds for student scholarships, aid for students to participate in mission trips and helping reduce missionary student debt to allow alumni to remain in the mission field.

The April 18 event will be held in TMU’s George Blaurock Student Wellness Center. A reception is scheduled for 4 p.m. Dinner with entertainment will begin at 5:30 p.m., followed by the main program.

A dinner table for eight people can be reserved for $2,000 and includes hors d’oervres along with the dinner and program. Individual dinner and program seating is available for $250. Individual seats for the program only will be $25.
