High Fire Danger conditions continue to be in effect for Monday afternoon through Monday Evening for low humidities and high winds in North and Central Georgia.

Special Weather Statement issued March 28 at 1:53 a.m. by the National Weather Service in Peachtree City.

Relative Humidities of 25 percent or less can be expected for 4 or more hours this afternoon into the evening . Winds will be northwest at 7 to 12 MPH with gusts up to 17 MPH possible this afternoon.

Due to low humidity and high winds in addition to the dry fuels, any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.

With dry fuels, high fire danger conditions can be expected.

Please refer to your local burn permitting authorities whether you may burn outdoors.  If you do burn outside, use extreme caution.
