Longtime councilman Young dies

Longtime Cleveland City Councilman Edward Young died Tuesday, Aug. 25, at the age of 80.

Young retired from the City Council in December 2017 as the Ward 3 representative after 47 years in office.

Graveside services are scheduled for 3 p.m. Friday, Aug. 28, at Gateway Memory Park. Additional coverage about Young is planned for next week’s issue.
