Pets of the Week: Nov. 4

Pets of the week for the week of Nov. 4 from White County Animal Control and Charles Smithgall Humane Society.

At White County Animal Control, Fiona is a 1-year-old female who is super petite. When Fiona came in, Animal Control originally thought she was a kitten, but later realized she was just a small adult. Fiona is super playful, and loves belly rubs. Redford is a 3-year-old Lab pit mix. He was picked up as a stray, but seems to have some training. Redford is super well behaved, and just the tiniest tug on his leash, he will heel for you.

At Charles Smithgall Humane Society, there are 11 puppies that will be ready for adoption Nov. 9. These little butterballs, eight female and three male, are eight-week-old plott hound mixes. Meet and greets with the puppies has been set up from 1 to 3 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays until further notice. If interested, please fill out a PAQ at www.smithgallhumanesociety.org or stop by the office. If you’re looking for a puppy you will absolutely want to meet these little ones. Maya is a gorgeous 1-year -old grey/white female kitty. She’s shy at first, but friendly once she feels comfortable. She loves a good lap and a quiet environment.
