The United Way of White County’s Festival of Trees has returned for 2019 at Unicoi State Park & Lodge, beginning Nov. 13 and lasting through Dec. 6.
This year will feature a free Festival of Lights reception 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6, which will give the community a last chance to bid for their favorite Christmas tree or wreath. The Christmas reception will be held in the lower level Fireside room at Unicoi Lodge and will feature appetizers, a cash bar, pictures with Santa, s’mores, a bonfire and entertainment.
The public is invited to begin placing their bids next to each decorated tree or wreath on the bid sheets provided.
On Dec. 6, all winners will be called to pay for and pick up their tree or wreath. Trees and wreaths cannot be shipped.
