Viviane was born to Francois and Julie Salas Butoli in Oran, Algeria, North Africa.

Her father worked for the government and Viviane became a teacher. She caught the eye of a young Porter Glover from Cleveland, having met when he was stationed in Northern Africa in the US Army during WWII. Viviane and Porter were married, and Porter went on with his duties as an American soldier.

She was also hired by the White County School System as a foreign language teacher.

Viviane enrolled at the University of Georgia with several teachers from Cleveland and received her Masters in Education, graduating Summa Cum Laude. She enjoyed Travel, knitting (having knitted over 600 Christmas Stockings across all of White County and abroad), crochet, sewing, painting and spending quality time with her children.
