Precinct merger discussed

The White County Board of Elections and Registration received its first round of feedback this week on a proposed consolidation of the Helen and Robertstown voting precincts. Only two people commented during the Jan. 24 public hearing.

Proposal would combine two voting precincts

The White County Board of Elections and Registration will seek public input about a proposed consolidation of the Helen and Robertstown voting precincts. During a Jan. 3 meeting, Board members reviewed election data for the two precincts, which have the least voters among the county’s 11 precincts.
