Elections board approves merger of Helen, Robertstown precincts

White County Board of Elections is proceeding with a long-discussed consolidation of the Helen and Robertstown county voting precincts. The elections board signed off on the merger at its March 7 meeting, formally voting to combine the two into what will be known as the Robertstown-Helen precinct.

The White County Board of Elections and Registration received its first round of feedback this week on a proposed consolidation of the Helen and Robertstown voting precincts. Only two people commented during the Jan. 24 public hearing.
